Coffee is a very distant product many people consume daily yet we are sometimes still confused by its health effects and its ability to be sustainably produced. Join Josh Gibbs, co-owner of Dynamite Roasting Company, in this workshop exploring how the sourcing, trading, and buying of coffee can be an active choice toward sustaining communities, stewarding the environment, and protecting the lands and sovereignty of indigenous peoples. In conclusion we will experience a cupping, allowing you to explore the flavor and unique characteristics of coffee from around the world. In Part 3, Josh starts by describing an Ethiopian coffee and it’s flavor notes as well as how each coffee grown and affects its local community.
