These vegan ‘fish’ burgers are crispy on the outside, tender on the inside and completely delicious and made with healthy ingredients. The flaky texture of jackfruit gives them a realistic texture while miso and nori imbue a delicate seafood flavour. Tasty both hot and cold, serve them on soft buns with vegan tartar sauce and vegan cheddar.

**Do I HAVE to rinse the jackfruit so much??**
I do; you might not have to. I ate jackfruit as a kid in both sweet and savory forms and can taste it a mile away. If you don’t mind that flavour then do your thing. I rinse mine at least 3 times. Usually more.

**Isn’t the core edible? Aren’t those pods ok?**
It’s up to you but I find the core too tough for this recipe and the pods are super ew imo.
