Vegan Picadillo de Res. Try this delicious “beef” Hash. So good!



Stir Fry
2 1/2 cups of cooked & cubed Potatoes (seasoned with 1/4 tsp salt)
1 1/2 cups of dry TVP
(Rinse, simmer for 10 minutes, Rinse and Squeeze dry)
1 Cup of diced white onion
1 Cube of Vegan Beef Bouillon
In a non stick pan over medium heat
add a tsp of vegetable oil I used (grapeseed oil) fry the onions, dissolve 1 bouillon cube, stir,
add the cooked TVP and brown (add as much oil as needed to fry & brown)
Then add the potatoes, brown season
Add 1 tsp of onion powder + 1/8 tsp of ground cumin, mix then add
3/4 of chopped tomatoes
Optional add 1 chopped Serrano pepper for extra spiciness

Tomato sauce

In a blender add 1 large tomato or 2 Roma tomatoes
2 cloves of garlic
1 Vegan Beef Bouillon cube
1 wedge of onion
1/4 tsp of salt
1/2 a Serrano pepper or less (leave out if you don’t like mild spicy food)
1 1/2 cups of water

Pour over stir fry when TVP and potatoes have browned,
simmer for 5 minutes. Serve with a side of refried beans and warm tortillas.
